The Hellenic Criminal Bar Association -Greece’s nationwide association of criminal defence lawyers- held its 9th National Conference on criminal evidence on 20&21 October at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. Cutting-edge speeches and lively discussions focused on topical issues including recent EU legislative initiatives, ECtHR and CJEU case law, e-evidence, expert and scientific evidence, anonymous, peotected and vulnerable witnesses.
HCBA’s Chair, Ilias Anagnostopoulos, moderated a round table discussion on the future of criminal evidence. All contributions to this well attended Conference will be included in a book to be published in the coming months.
