9The European Academy of Law (ERA) in co-operation with the European Criminal Bar Association and the Studio Legale Cirese will hold a Seminar on “EU Criminal Law for Defence Counsel” in Rome/Italy on 21-22 June 2013. This Seminar is part of an EU-wide project co-funded by the Criminal Justice Programme of the European Union to train defence lawyers on European criminal justice. Ilias Anagnostopoulos will give a speech on “Procedural safeguards in criminal justice: the EU’s roadmap”.
