29 May Free Legal Training Seminar for Fraud Auditors, Athens 29.5.2015

The European Institute of Fraud Auditors (EIFA, Brussels, www.e-ifa.eu) in cooperation with Anagnostopoulos and the Hellenic Institute of Internal Auditors (www.hiia.gr) organized a one-day free legal training seminar for Greek auditors on fraud and related matters on 29 May 2015 (10am to 3pm) in Athens, Conference Center “Europe” (23 Mavromichali Str.).

More than 80 participants including many high ranking officers from leading corporations and government organisations attended the event.
Seminar speakers Ilias Anagnostopoulos and Gerasimoula Zapanti made presentations and led the lively discussions on topical issues such as:
• Criminal responsibility of auditors
• Detecting and managing criminal risks
• Corporate internal investigations
• Reporting of alleged offences to the authorities
• Whistleblowers
